What's the best way to care for my jewellery?

What's the best way to care for my jewellery?

Precious metals such as gold and sterling silver are naturally soft and should be treated with special care to avoid damage. To care for your pieces, avoid exposure to perfumes, oils and household chemicals. If tarnishing occurs wipe with a jewellery cleaning cloth or clean with a suitable cleaning agent. Keep away from hard surfaces as bumps and scratches will cause wear to the plating. To extend the life of your plated jewellery we recommend keeping in a soft pouch or jewellery box, out of direct sunlight and heat.

Porcelain care

Porcelain is a strong and durable material but should be treated like a ceramic, nevertheless, as it can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. To keep your jewellery in good condition, simply wipe with a clean, dry cloth. No special care is needed to maintain the original colours of each jewellery piece.

Semi-precious stones & pearls

Semi-Precious stones are very delicate and should be handled with extra care. We recommend using a soft, dry, untreated cloth to clean your stones. Pearls are a natural material, and each piece is unique and will vary slightly in shapes and colours. Jewellery with pearl can be cleaned with a lukewarm damp cloth. Avoid exposure to perfumes, oils and household chemicals.
